BATON ROUGE – One man was stunned when a Doctor knocked on his door, flanked by two armed men in ski masks.

Reggie Smith alleges he signed a contract at the local Y without reading it, and part of it says he owes this man one of his two kidneys.

“This really is meant to be a wake up call to those who don’t read what they sign.” Says Dr. Demetrius Plasson, the man who knocked. “That’s my kidney now. I’m not leaving without it.”

When Smith woke up in his bathtub filled with ice he knew that he had made a mistake.

“Hopefully I remember to read the contract next time. I only got one kidney left.”
