RICHMOND – After the populace made a majority vote on an issue, the Virginia Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional.
“The people really don’t know what they want.” A Supreme Court Justice said. “We are making the decision for them since the majority got it wrong.”
It doesn’t matter if it is democratically approved by the masses, if the Supreme Court justices voted against it they are within their right to strike it down, the prevailing opinion states.
